Out of Reach 2017: Ohio’s Housing Wage is $15

The National Low-income Housing Coalition recently released Out of Reach 2017. The report’s Housing Wage is the hourly wage a full-time worker must earn to afford a modest apartment while spending no more than 30% of his or her income on rent and utilities. This year, Ohio’s average two-bedroom Housing Wage is $15.00 per hour.

Low and Median Wages Barely Increased Since 1973, While Those at the Top Saw Sizable Gains
