AmeriCorps VISTAs join NECIC to aid in their community teaching garden

Twenty-five of the OCDCA AmeriCorps VISTAs traveled from around the state to Mansfield on Friday for the annual OCDCA VISTA Day of Service. In the morning, the VISTA members volunteered for NECIC’s teaching garden, which is on a vacant lot; and, in the afternoon, they received resume training. Most of these volunteers have been serving for at least one year. This year’s service term ends at the end of June 2015.  Read more about NECIC’s garden here.
