Ohio CDC Association’s Microbusiness development program exceeded its business and household assistance goals for 2014. Our sub-grantee organizations assisted 239 of their projected 204 businesses, and 867 of their projected 850 households.
Our network of sub-sites completed nearly 9,500 hours of technical assistance consultations for entrepreneurs and business owners, and 867 individuals completed entrepreneurship training courses. They helped start 125 businesses and 114 business expand. In 2014, our network created or retained a total of 393 full-time equivalent jobs in low-income communities in Ohio!
