Fairfield County Foundation awards $30,000 to Community Action

A recent award to an OCDCA member!

The Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action Agency recently accepted a $30,000 grant from the Fairfield County Foundation to repair and resurface the agency parking lot at 1743 E. Main St., Lancaster.

The funds were awarded from the Foundation’s George and Dollie F. Zimpfer Fund.

During 2015, LFCAA provided services to nearly 16,000 individuals from within Fairfield County. These services include an emergency choice food pantry, emergency shelter for homeless families, utility and rent assistance, home weatherization and energy conservation programs, home repair and rehabilitation assistance, and early childhood and adult education programs.
